Malmö is a neat city. Its biggest problem seem to be the suburbs and former harbour area. As soon as you leave the city center you will find yourself in no-mans land. The harbour area is completely desolated. If you are in to huge empty structures be sure to visit, otherwise, stay inside the "ring" road.
It seems Malmö is (just) a bit cheaper than the rest of Sweden to live in. It is one of two places were we found a supermarket not linked to the big ones in Sweden.
All in all, worth a visit, but don't drive hundreds of miles extra just to visit Malmö.

Like all other formule 1 hotels this one is cheap. Staff is not particularly friendly, but for the money it is a good... more travel advice
