|  | 30.12.2003: Just returned from an amazing tour throughout Brazil. So much impressions, so much information ... it will take a while until all my tips are here.
Believe it or not: Nothing was stolen from us. With just using some common sense, Brazil can be a very fascinating country without any crime bothering you.

Tour Plan Our Tour (30.11. - 28.12.2003): Rio de Janeiro -(Airpass flight)- Brasilia -(Airpass flight)- Recife/Olinda - (9 days rental car:) Joao Pessoa/Jacuma - Natal/Jenipabu - Itamaraca - Porto de Galinhas - Praia Tabuba - Linha Verde - Salvodor -(Airpass flight)- Foz do Iguacu -(Airpass flight)- Belem -(Airpass flight)- Rio de Janeiro

Hint: The best travel guide for Brazil is "Guia Quatros Rodas Brasil" - available at every newspaper stand and bookshop around Brazil. Although it's just available in Portugese, you'll understand enough. (For sure! We don't speak Portugese and it worked out fine). A small dictionary will help for the rest. |
