Farm Houses Farm houses are a great way of staying in Gozo. Many have their own swimming pool and some will even have a hot tub. It is certainly my favorite way of staying. You can come and go as you please and you are not blocked by having breakfast at certain times. They are lovely houses built with the typical lime stone giving it that fresh clean look. We satyed in Xaghra the one of the largest villages in Gozo. |
City The main attractions in the city is the citadell, which is certainly worth the steep walk up. Not only does it contain museums but due to it's location you can see most of Gozo. Amazing views! It is full of small and narrow streets which is great to walk through. |
Country side It contains great country side one of the most well known places to visit is the Azure window. A naturally created window on the coast. You can visit almost any place with any type of vehcule, however if travelling with a will be hiring a 4x4 just to access all of the islands corners. Walking is certainly the way forward on this island as some of the best sights will only be accessed by two feet. |
