Interesting insight into Muslim Culture & Religion. Very good photographs too.
It is a good idea to keep Kleenex with you for those times the bathroom does not offer toilette paper. Egypt has a brand called Zeina Pack that is flat and fits well in the purse and is good quality tissue.
What a wonderful education about Cairo. Detail and descriptions are very good. Some wonderful photographs. Great information about the food, the markets, including the camel market. Found it helpful, interesting, and well done.

Nice comprehensive review of the city in text and images. Security has changed around the museum since I was there in 1997. The rest is much the same, but check out my images from a visit during 1963, taken by an aunt and uncle who are now dead, RIP

No. 1 indeed! Excellent pictures and tips about the Islamic Cairo, which I unfortunately missed. Great food guide! Interesting tips about the camels market, although seeing the poor animals treated like this is not one of the best things.
