"Bolga, the most Northern city of Ghana" Bolgatanga by Pieter11

Bolgatanga Travel Guide: 29 reviews and 69 photos

Bolgatanga is a fast growing city in the very north of Ghana, and it is the capital of the region it is situated in: the Upper East Region. Bolga, as every Ghanaian calls the city, doesn't have a lot of touristic attractions, but it is a nice place to walk through on your way to more interesting places in the neighbourhood.

In the direct surroundings of Bolga you can visit the famous Sacred Crocodiles of Paga, the painted houses of Sirigu or the mystical Tongo Hills.

Interesting all the things the Africans can do with straw. And yes, you have to bargain with them :-)
