Mole National Park is not the most visited, but definitely the most special park in Ghana. It has been established in 1958 and it keeps almost 400 different species of animals in an area of 4840 km2. It is situated in the Northern Region of Ghana, about 200 km. west from Tamale.

Too bad, it is very difficult to get around in the biggest park of the park, so it's very unlikely that you will see its hippo's, buffalo's, lions or leopards. You are very likely to see elephants though, just as different species of monkeys and antilopes.
