"Nolay" Nolay by Pieter11

Nolay Travel Guide: 5 reviews and 20 photos

On the way from Beaune to Autun, the the French region Bourgogne, you will cross a little village with only 1.700 inhabitants, called Nolay. While crossing the village it doesn't look different from all the other picturesque villages along the way, but Nolay is different.

In its very small centre you will find some fine Medieval buildings that are definitely worth a short stop here. The church is a nice building, but especially the 14th century market hall is very impressive.

I did not expect to find that anybody had ever written about Nolay when we decided to enter our experiences of 15+ years ago. We more or less duplicated your experience but without the photographic expertise.

Nolay looks like a tiny and picturesque place to visit - very nice.
