"Klias Wetlands, Monkeys Paradise" Kampong Gramma by Pieter11

Kampong Gramma Travel Guide: 7 reviews and 16 photos

In the small village of Kampung Gramma, the starting is located for great tours through the special area of Klias Wetlands. Here the Klias River ends in the the sea, but not before is has created a large area of mangrove forests.

This area is a true paradise for monkeys and of course for monkey-lovers. During a boattrip of a few hours you can see three species: the extraordinairy Proboscis Monkey, the rude Macaques and the shy Silver Langurs. And besides the monkeys there are lots of birds to see and of course a gorgeous landscape.
