Lagos is definitely a tourist destination but I still found it to be rather appealing. Due to its tourist feel, it offers an abundance of dining, shopping and activities. A lot of the more historical buildings were destroyed in the 1755 earthquake. Still it remains a lovely destination with the main avenue (Av. dos Descombrimentos) lined with imported tropical canary palms. |
