Back for Vacation after 5 year absence

Went to Graduate school in suburban Riverside and just recently came back from visiting some friends. Do not have time to review all the places I have been to and also many of them might not exists anymore. I will talk about a couple places I visited during my recent visit

Need a car

Though LA now has a subway system and light rail this is still an area where you need a car. That is not such a bad thing as you can be in three totally different places within 50 miles from LAX from the beach in Santa Monica or Orange County, the wineries of Temecula to the downtown area of LA. So get your AAA driving map and enjoy the visit.
