I´ve been twice in Russia, the first time in winter (Christmas) and the second one in summertime, I prefer Moscow and Sant Petersburg in winter than in summertime, in winter it is more genuine. we saw some kids and people buying ice creams, the temperature was about -25C, incredible!!!, we did the same and it was really cool.

The Red Square is huge and beautiful, I enjoyed the changing of the guards change in front of Lenin´s tomb, Gumm store... more travel advice
