D-Day landing beaches

Omaha Beach
Omaha Beach is now a resort area for the French.

We were here in October, so the "season" was over and the area was very quiet. We had the beach to ourselves. It was very poignant to be there on such a sunny and beautiful day- nothing like the images of D-Day that you play in your mind.
