A small city in a huge country. Ottawa is full of attractions in the summer (dont believe me check it out!!) though a little too quiet in the long winter. People seem polite though some arent that polite after second thought :~)

you can find every single ethnicity that God has created in its 800 thousand population. Ottawa has a beautiful Canal that cuts the city in two and turns into a skating rink in the winter. You can go skating, cross country skyying , Canoeing or Pedaling there. You can also go hiking in the Gatineau park... you can smoke pot anywhere.
You can get drunk and pollute the streets on Friday night kuz you know there is a big budget spent on public cleaning. And you know that you are paying for this service anyway from the highly unjustified taxes collected by a lousy Government! but anyway you keep drinking and it feels good.

Life in here is also a tat expensive.
Winter is so attractive. We have the winterlude in Feb. Unfortunately it always happens that we have + temperatures in the Winterlude Weekends. We are plain unlucky kuz the ice sculptures last for a day or two....
but then who cares at least we had some warm temperatures :~)

I lived in Ottawa for 3 years and some months and I really loved this city. Inspite of being considered BOOORING by many it is still unbeaten by Montreal or Toronto at least for me!
