Contrary to popular belief, Tokyo is not all steel and high rise buildings.

I found it a quaint, but a nice mix of a fast paced lifestyle with friendly locals and once you get out of the main heart of the CBD, it is even though still fast paced, the feeling changes.

Maybe its due to the Japanese strict sense of protocol, or even that there are rituals and regimes for nearly everything. That sense of the rights and wrongs seems to pervade the air - not that it is a bad thing mind you.
