Queenstown is known as the jewel to New Zealand's tourism industry (this is before Lord of the Rings made its impact to this small island nation) and seriously, if you are an adrenaline junkie or simply need to vent out a bit of energy in 'alternative pleasures' - its one hell of a ride - but its well worth it I say. |

|  | Personally.... It might sound like some spill but Queenstown does offer all kinds of activities with various kinds of involvement. Do note thought that Queenstown is approx 6 hours bus ride away from Christchurch - and it can get a tad bit touristy for some (honestly - without the visitors... Queenstown becomes just a shell of a small village) but this does not tarnish its image all that much... after all, ppl flock from all over for the things to do ! |
