Sushi King - KLCC: ~Japanese food el cheapo~

Have always had a soft spot for Japanese food.. and not just your standard sushi but also the noodles.

Sushi King does seem very 'fast - foodish' - sushi being served on conveyor belts and patrons selecting em as they roll by but this actually is part of its charm! Food is fresh, and there is no complaints about slow service!

There is still table service when it comes to items from the menu so take heart.

Favorite Dish: Spider temagi (soft shell crab), curry potato.

La Bodega @ Bangsar: Tapas and sangria

When I crave for something.. I want it like BAD.. and unfortunately *or perhaps fortunately depending on how you look at it*.. its usually for this Spanish inspired finger food called tapas.. and where else would I go but to La Bodega?

Favorite Dish: TAPAS!! Tapas are small portions of foods, both hot and cold and dont forget to request for vinegar & olive oil dip for the bread served.

Recommended tapas dishes:
1) Chilli brinjal
2) Escargot
3) Tiger prawns
4) Chicken sausage

White wine sangria makes the perfect accompany for the above ...

American Chilis Grill & Bar: Margarita's anyone?

Gosh.. if you want the best margaritas in town.. go to Chilis!! They serve excellent drinks at cheap cheap prices ( go during Happy Hours where margarita's go for RM5 off and other house liqours are for 1/2 price.. its a steal!!).. And the Top Shelf ones are served in 16 oz mugs!!!

Favorite Dish: 1) Top Shelf Strawberry Margaritas (naturally)
2) Monterey Chicken
3) Triple Play starter
4) Prawn Caesar salad

Alexis Cafe - Bangsar: Peach and Banana crumble ..yum yum..

Its more of a cosy place to chill out and have coffee.. not too noisy although mind you - dessert is the must have here. Generally , most patrons have a mention on the tiramisu but I would rather opt for the peach and banana crumble!! But dont forget to substitute the whipping cream with ice cream instead.
