I have been to Norway many times before yet this last one was the best trip? so far ;o)
Maybe it has to do with the company?
This was mine and Peters first get-away together, we closed our mobile phones just so that it would be 'only the two of us'. This was in September 2002.
We drove up from Stockholm and were very optimistic about our trip, it can?t take longer than 8 - 9 hours, and well that's where we were wrong. It took us almost 16 hours to go from Stockholm to Indre Torvund
The surroundings in Norway are SPECTACULAR!! The roads are fabulous its just that they don?t go 'straight', you have to go around the mountains like a spiral and that my dear friends is why it took us so long. Then you have a couple of ferries that will take you across the fjord. |
