YUMMY!

And there I was for the very first time in Phuket at Kata Beach to visit my 'long and last friend'

Peter and I decided that we would spend a few days in Kata beach during our Asia tour.
We arrived to Thailand, Satun with the boat from Langkawi. We realized that we needed to rent a car or a taxi? Finally after a few hours Peter met a guy who would take us there in his minivan and a few other passenger.. They were four.
It took about 6 or 7 hours before we arrived to Patong and had a tuk-tuk to Kata Beach.
As it was low season it wasn't that many tourists however, don't think I have ever seen so many Swedish restaurants since the Canary Islands in the 90's!!

Cruising around

To be able to really explore Phuket you need to rent a car or like we did a motorbike!
We had our 'bike' for 3 days and found the most amazing beaches, parks not to mention the fantastic restaurant we found way up in the hills!

When it rains..

it rains... the strips on the pic.. is u got it ;-) rain! This was at our last day so it was ok just to relax and read a good book!
