UPDATE (Dec. 2008): Since the summer of 2006, I've been living and working back on the Gulf Coast after a year-long stint in the windswept High Plains of the Texas Panhandle. It's good to be back on home turf.

I was born and raised in Texas, lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for 7 years and returned home in 2004. Hopefully my next residence will be in a different country.
