Not many people know where Worthing is or not heard of it...the only reason I know where it is is because I went there to do a half marathon. I know probably sounds crazy and did feel like that when I got up at 5 am on a sunday to catch a train.
It is quite typical of english contryside and its nice to take a break from city life.

I just went for the day - don't think there's much to see there. But since you do go via Brighton, you could stop over.

If anyone plans to run the 1/2 or full marathon - the worthing one is good. Though a bit tough...lots of up hill climbs. :) Getting there you can catch a train from Victoria to Brighton and then on to Worthing. Travel takes anywhere between an 60 to 90 mins depending on trains.

All i know is that it has a nice looking golf course. I know nothing about golf so i can't give anymore details. umm... more travel advice

Scooter boys and ska, reggae and bluebeat festival coming up; all things mod with camping, food & stalls worthing rugby club 9th - 11th September dont come if you cant dance
