Hua Hin is only a few hours outside Bangkok, which makes it one of the easiest beach resorts to get to out of the city.
I and my husband have visited Hua Hin on several occassions, we actually spent the beginning of our honeymoon here. A friend of ours also lived just south of the town for many years (although she has now moved to England).
So Hua Hin holds many happy memories for me.
The Thai King is now resident in Hua Hin and the town is obviously very proud of this fact.
Hua Hin has been asociated with Thai royalty for many years.
- Pros:Close to Bangkok
- Cons:Close to Bangkok! (Gets busy)
- In a nutshell:I'm biased! I love it here!
