Few words about Hamburg... Hamburg is a second largest city in Germany; the sity of bridges ( 2123 if I am not wrong) and the city of millionaires ( "not even the tax authorities know how many?" I read in one book).
Hamburg has 1.7 million inhabitants, living in 104 districts. It has 21 nature reserves, expanses of water totaling 60sq km.
Famous theaters, such as the Deutsches Schauspielhaus are based here, the Hamburg State Opera, as are 10 universities, 60 museums, Hamburg Football Club (HSV), etc.
The weather: I really can't say anything for the summer, but winter is very cloudy and windy. It rearly snows. I don't remember seeing any sun during the time I spent there. For my taste I'd say that the weather is a bit depressing!
