Family friendly pub, not much for the kids to do but they seem to be welcome. Open in the daytime sometimes with line-dancing and sing-a-long. In the evening, they have drink offers and bingo runs from about 8pm til 10pm, followed by 2 caberet acts (usually singers or drag acts. There are plenty of places in new town Benidorm to play bingo, but this is my favourite!!! (Probaly only because i won 40 Euros!!)
Dress Code: None.
Address: Calle Mallorca
Theme: Family Spot
Open day and night, daytime mostly as a sports bar showing football etc and in the evening, probaly the most popular Kareoke bar in Benidorm. Drinks can be abit pricey but usually a good atmosphere, and drinks promotions avaliable. There's a pool table and seperate area if you want to be away from the music, and in the height of the summer they have an 'oxygen bar.' Open til late.
The main thing which i DON'T like about Rocky's is that there's often a funny/bad smell around!! I think it comes from the drains, so not their fault, but sometimes put me off in the summer!!
Directions: Turn left at the bottom of the square, it's just past KFC on the left.

friends dean and kelly leaving jokers at 8.30am!
All different types of music depending on the day and the time. Drinks can be quite expensive but i would recommend going towards the end of a night when you arent drinking so heavily! its open until around 8.30am, but is only open everyday through the summer, out of season only at the weekends. its got a big garden/terrace which is ideal if the music gets too much. Also have strippers etc in the height of summer.
Directions: end of calle Lepanto, near hotel presidente and Loch Ness pub.

Words and Music
'Words and Music' are (in my opinion) the best music cabaret act in Benidorm. I think they're exclusive to 'Stardust' and the show starts at about 10pm nearly every night. They sing, dance, one of them plays the violin and the sax, and they have abit of a laugh at the same time. A mixture of songs -all except one of them in english- nearly all you can sing along to. Excellent singers and musicians, highly recommended.
Stardust can be quite expensive but it's packed every night, not just for Words and Music, but for all the cabaret acts, they have comedians, tribute acts, music and even a disco later (i think)-thats if you can afford to stay there!! The shows tend to run abit behind the times advertised outside, but if you want a seat you should get in early to be sure.
Dress Code: None as far as i know but you tend to find most people in there are fairly well turned out.
Address: Calle Gerona
Directions: Directions from the square- walk down to the bottom of the square and turn left by the arcade/mini golf place (before you get to chaplins) walk past Rockys, Panchos and Gigolos and its abit further along on the left hand side.

Much the same as all of the clubs on the square, 2 for 1 offers on drinks and free shots, the usual music- R&B and commercial dance with a bit more of a beat. Usually one of the busiest of the clubs on the square with a decent atmosphere and everyone out for a good time.
Address: Avenida Mallorca / 'The Square'
Directions: On the Square, towards the bottom opposite Hippodrome and next to Bahamas.

Owned by the same people as Jokers, Sinatras and Red Dog, Probaly the quietest of the 4. Through the winter months its caberet followed by disco, and in the summer just disco. Normal bar prices, good music. Pretty much standard Benidorm 'disco/ fun pub.'
Address: Avenida Mallorca
Directions: Bottom of 'the square'

Red Dog flyer
Country and Western theme early in the evening with line dancing and live music, it then turns in to a late bar with dj. A different strip show, lesbian show or live sex show with sexy barbara most nights through the summer. Friendly staff, pool table, plenty of places to sit, dance floor, good music. Open til around 6am but only usually busy til about 3 or 4am. A popular place for the workers to drink. best time to visit between midnight and 4am, strip shows change daily, male and female, usually around 2am.
Directions: On Calle Lepanto, next to Cocktails and Dreams, near Cafe Benidorm.

Cafe B
Cafe Benidorm- known to most as Cafe B- has pretty much something for everyone. Caberet throughout the evening then music all night til about 6 or 7am. Mostly cheesey tunes from 70s 80s and 90s so tend to get a slightly older range of people. Has a bit of a reputation for being a cattle market or pulling place for the middle aged but good fun for everyone. They have a terrace which looks on to the square so perfect for people watching or escaping the hussle and bustle of inside. Friendly and efficient staff. Average prices.
Directions: Right on the corner of the square, near to Hotel Orange. It's on the corner of Calle Lepanto and Calle Mallorca. 95% of people you ask will be able to direct you.
Theme: Nightclub
If you head down to the beachfront bars and discos in the late evening you can expect to find alot more spanish people and generally a nicer atmosphere. The focus tends to be more on the music and dancing and less on drinking and getting into fights like on the square! I don't think they charge for entrance, drinks are abit more pricey but worth it for the better atmosphere and abit of variety in music.
Dress Code: None that i know of but i'd make a bit more of an effort and steer away from trainers.
Directions: If you walk straight down on to the seafront for the square turn right and walk along about 5/10 minutes. you'll see the lights from km, ku, penelope etc.
