I spent five days in the Kruger National park in 2002 and it was amazing! I found a great safari guide over the internet, check out www.beardedheron.com if you are interested. I managed to see the 'big five' in my time there and had the most amazing lion experiences from 1-10 meters away! Watching a pride devour a buffalo was one of my highlights. Another was watching the beautiful Leopard stalk Impala just as I was leaving to complete the 'Big Five'.

the safari experience I had was great thanks to Neil guide and boss of the Beraded Heron. I had a completely tailor made holiday, beers at 9 am if I wanted :) and no limits to the number of drives. i did and saw what I wanted and there were no other parties to battle with as it was MY safari! The guiding was great too and with out a good guide I would have missed a lot of action due to my untrained eye!!

Well, I've decided to add more stuff to my Kruger pages, as I feel I am not giving justice to the place! I hate digital photos, so I use a normal camera with film.. I have nearly 200 photos, so I have to find time to scan and post a few more up here!
