We found a cheap deal to Hurghada and stayed at Le Meridiene Makadi Bay Hotel. The weather was around 28 degrees C and sunny, which was great for some November sun! I'm not a fan of these big hotels as they are destroying coasts around the world, unfortunately I couldn't avoid them this time!
We got a real result when we arrived as someone messed up our booking and we were given an all inclusive package by accident for the cost of half board! Wicked!! I'll have 10 pints of Egyptian Stella mate!!
The snorkelling was good on the house reef and we took a day trip to Cairo, which was very tiring, but I finally saw the Pyramids!
