Ok, the page title is the tourist board´s claim.

Not exactly true, but Århus is a great place to visit.

If all you´ve seen of Denmark is København, then you´re missing out. (Not that many Københavners would agree, I think.)

The Danish capital is on the island of Sjælland, and the view of the cosmopolitans that live there is that Jylland (the mainland) is a backwater.

Århus may not have the choice that you get in a bigger city, but it´s human scale and very friendly.
