We often travel through Lille on the Eurostar train to Brussels, but we have stopped to visit a few times. The last occasion was for a couple of hours whilst waiting for a connecting train to Montpellier. Enough time to watch the unions marching through the town centre (there was a grève générale), and do some shopping for provisions for the onward journey. |
