Dayton: Better than you think! | Star marks the spot: Dayton. |
I lived in Dayton for 4 years while attending college at the University of Dayton. I moved out there knowing pretty much nothing about Ohio, and definatley not knowing a soul. Four years later I wouldn't trade that time for anything! Of course those were my college years, so how bad could it have been, right?
The number one question I received from friends and family at home, and even strangers in Dayton was, "What on earth made you pick Dayton, Ohio?"
Well, I don't know, but my answer is now, " It's better than you think!" |
| The seal of the great city of Dayton, Ohio |
Not your typical destination city. If you've chosen to vacation in the great state of Ohio, I'd be lieing if I told you that you should drop everything and head right to *Dayton* first thing. For a weekend away, I'd probably pick Cincinnati first... or Cleveland. Possibly I'd send you up to Cedar Point if you're into amusement parks. However, if you find yourself in Ohio and you've got time to spare, or, you're visiting someone in the Dayton area, there really are plenty of great things to see and do! Oh, and if you're a UD student, or you find yourself in the vacinity of UD... There are GREAT times to be had in Dayton. So stick with me, I'll hook you up. :-) |
