My time in Jersey...

Well, what to say about my trips to Jersey? Lets see... I went there twice, both times looking for work, neither time finding work (that i liked at least). The first time i went was in 1999, with 5 other friends, and after 2 weeks i could not wait to leave!

North shore of Jersey

The second time was May, 2000. I had a lot more fun this time, probably because i gave up on work within a couple of days after arriving. I travelled with one friend (Who stole my job before i got there), bought myself a mountain bike, and just explored. Went to the zoo, cycled up North, did as much as i could.

This time i was quite sad to leave, but i was flat broke...

Pros and Cons

Pros:Stunning when the sun is shining!
Cons:The sun didn't shine that much...
In a nutshell:A nice holiday spot for the family.

Shame you never got to spend more time in Jersey - but at least you explored it!! Jobs are quite hard to come by - it is really down to who you know. Hope you get to go back again some day.

I worked with a guy from Jersey once. A great sight with those hobies. You had a great idea of touring the Island. I think this is the first page I've read on Jersey, well done.
