    • I really hate having to write this tip, as it concerns the bar i'm a supervisor in more than any other bar in Ullapool, but it needs to be done. Due to having the latest licence in town, most drinkers end up in the Seaforth after all the other pubs are closed, and bar fights are a reasonably common occurence.
    That said, the staff are pretty good at diffusing the situation reasonably quickly, so no-one has ever been really hurt. I've only ever seen one chair being thrown in the pub, and the person who threw it is now barred for life...

     I spent a saturday evening/night there , enjoyed myself very much , and drunk a lot of whisky , all brands I never seen before . Also very fresh fish there , well prepared and tasty. Recomend the place.

     Ullapool must have changed .Was there 1963 with a friend.Drove up the north coast, then to Ullapool,camped in a field, before going to Skye. An adventure for 2 girls in their early twenties in conservative Scotland. No photos taken though, unfortunately.    		globetrott Thu May 13, 2004 22:53 UTC
