Harbour Bridge / Anzac Bridge: Sydney Harbour Bridge

  • Built in 1932 the Harbour Bridge has been a symbol of the city and provides a great vantage point to get a nice look of the Harbour and the cityscape.

Pedestrians can enter the bridge walkaway from a set of stairs in Cumberland St above Argyle St in The Rocks. The bridge's southern pylon, there is an entry on the walkway that gives you a great spot for photo-ops.

if you are an adrenaline junkie, you can sign up to do the "BRIDGECLIMB".. It takes you to the summit of the bridge where you can yell "I'M ON THE TOP OF THE WORLD" ( I swear I'm not a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio). It's only mildly strenous but it will sure put a stress on your wallet so for those afraid of heights this a good news for you. Oh yeah I was told that you have to take a breathalyzer test before they let you so to all you partyers out there better do the climb first then you can throw back a couple of schooners.

  • If you go to Sydney and you didn't go see the Opera House I'm sure you will get a good ribbing from your friends and family. So suck it up and hightail it to Opera House.

Built to look like a fleet of sails full of wind , this is the city's landmark. Finished in 1973 marred by overbudget and bureacracy the Opera House is now a legend of its own. If you have time in the city and done taking pics of it for your photo album I recommend try catching a play , opera or film in here.

  • This is the departure point for both the city ferry system and also numerous private cruise companies. This lively hub of tourist activity with streets performer, souvenir shops and cafes.

We saw this guy jamming it up so we decided to chill out for a while here and soak in the atmosphere.

I'm a guy and it's against the guy code to enjoy shopping so I couldn't tell you much about the shopping stores here, hehe.

    Beaches: Bondi Beach
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • If you are obsess with water then head to this famous beach. For me this beach is a bit touristy but if u want to soak in some sun and try some surfing then this is the place for you. Then again I was told by many the reason why some people flock here is because of the eye candy.

  • If you are tired of partying and sightseeing and you want to soak in some culture this a good place for you. The museum offers a great exhibit about Australia's natural history and indigenous cultures. The time that we visited this museum they also have an exhinit called " From the Tomb and Beyond" (?).

I find the exhibit about the indigenous culture the most interesting part of the museum

Churches / Cathedrals: St Mary's Cathedral
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • The first structure of this cathedral was first eretced in 1833 then it burned to the ground in 1865 and completed again in 1928. The Gothic towers on the south end of the cathedral was finally finish in 2000.

An exhibit in the crypt gives an account of the cathedral's role in this modern city.
