Nightlife Spot: AKW ( autonomes kulturzentrum wuerzburg)
Locared on the compound of a former brewery, the AKW is a bit the melting pot for the alternative szene in wuerzburg. You can find the local "weekend-punks" sitting beside the buissnessstudents, and the 68 generation looking at it, getting sentimental about the good old times.
They try to invite some interessting acts from time to time, and there isd an outside cinema in summer. also in summertime they open a nice beergarden, so in summer you can meet people there and chill out later inside the place. prices are a bit cheaper than elsewhere.
On thursday, the entrance is free.
