Weinhaus zum Stachel The “Weinhaus zum Stachel” is one of the oldest local winehouses in Wuerzburg. Located in a small sideway in the heart of the city it is the perfect place to relax after a long day. In summer you can sit outside in a very nice garden . In summer it is wise to make a reservation.
Favorite Dish: I tried several dishes and all of them where very well done. You find also simple franconian dishes like “blaue Zipfel” ( better not to be translated) , a Bratwurst, boiled in wine – and a very nice selection of wine from local winemakers. Not cheap – but quality, price and the great garden make it a good place. They have the menue also in english
