"Malaga" Málaga by doogienj

Having been to Marbella close to 10 times, I had never visited Malaga. I never heard many good things about the town.

But since I was renting a car this trip, I decided to venture in to Malaga for the day. It's just under an hours drive from Marbella on highway N-340 (Eastbound).

Cathederal

I was only in Malaga for 1/2 day, but I felt it was enough. The city is noisy and traffic is heavy. But there is a nice part of town which is made up of pedestrian shopping streets and several Plaza's.

There is also a very beautiful cathederal. I would also suggest visiting the Picasso museum. Malaga was his birthplace. I think they are working on a new museum.

• Cons:Noisy, tough to find parking
