Bangkok: I really learned to love it

by AMOQUE - last update: Mar 14, 2006

Diverse metropole Bangkok

Bangkok skyline
When I first arrived here, I really had to get used to Bangkok. The buildings, the traffic, lots of people. It's a hectic life in Bangkok. But I got used to that soon enough and took my time to discover Bangkok.

Explore Bangkok by longtailboat and you'll get a totally different impression. Visit the lovely Grand Palace and Wat Po (The Temple of the Reclining Buddha), China Town and so on!!

This metropole has so much to offer and is so diverse.... You have to see, feel, hear, taste , touch and smell it yourself. I had to get used to Bangkok, but now I absolutely love it there!

Pros:"Lot's of things to see and do. Great shops, good food"
Cons:"Busy traffic (smog), hectic, beware of pickpockets"
In A Nutshell:"Give Bangkok a chance. As soon as you stay here a bit longer, you'll love it there"
