"Forevermore-itius" Mauritius by bijel

There are unbelievable sunsets in Mauritius - I don't know if it was the monsoon that allowed it to be so, or just the general way the sun sets over the place. Sunsets and sunrises are just amazing. The best thing about Mauritius, I feel, is the beach. I also love the sugarcane plantations, but that might be boring to most people, because after a while, there is JUST sugarcane around, for miles and miles.

Well, part of the resort anyway, this was where the bar came alive in the night, its rhythms pulsating through the night air, audible from the beach where one is taking that night stroll with a miniature scotch whisky. Sometimes you think - yes, that's what life is all about.
