North Sydney is where the city ends and the North Shore begins. Essentially a business district, North Sydney gets very busy during the day with the hustle and bustle of office workers and becomes a ghost town over weekends. North Sydney has some great restaurants and pubs, along with some of the nicest views of Sydney Harbour. If you are after a tourists day out you can definately kill a day by walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge from the city side and then walk underneath the bridge down to North Sydney Olympic pool followed by a fun visit to Luna Park. After Luna Park you have a nice foreshore walk around Lavendar Bay which will give you a peaceful view of Sydney Harbour. |
