During the early 1900's, Goldfield was the largest city in the state of Nevada, and one of the busiest and brightest mining cities in the western United States. In 1907 it's population was 20,000. Despite it's flamboyant beginning, Goldfield and its mines eventually played out and much has been lost to time and the elements. But, on every street, ruins still hint at past glories, and what remains from the adventurous past glories will enchant you.
