This is a friendly (if a little timid) village on the road from Kukes down towards Tirane. The road, built by the Romans and probably not resurfaced since, is travelled by a weird assortment of nervous locals, Italian plain-clothes police and... well, the people the police are after. The village makes a welcome stopping point with relative safety if you need to stop for the night. An Irish Catholic charity has also set up a project there and the picture shows a football team they were encouraging.
