Houston is named for Sam Houston. This city is also one of the greatest seaports in the states. The Lyndon B. Space Center and NASA's manned space flight program are located there as well as the Enron Field.
Houston is Texas largest City its sleek and modern skyline boasts into some amazing, shiny blue. Houston experienced the first oil boom in 1901, it lays fifty miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico which coast extends from Louisiana to Mexico.

Texas is the second largest state in the US. It has a greater area than IL, IN, IA, MI and WI combined. Only Alaska is larger yet TX has thirty times more ppl. The Texan is a unique breed - traditionally bold, aggessive and individualistic with a strong sense of duty and honor. The frontier, tradition survives not only in Texans fondness for boots, guns, wide-brimmed hats and horses - but also in their strong belief in human equality. As a matter of fact I experienced Texans' hospitality and kindness as the most impressive and extra ordinary ones. European folks go figure, and give your's some improve. Texas, is nothing but a great state to travel and be at.

Pride and joy where the west lives on. Despite Texas' incomparable life and landscape, it is not about being cowboy or cowgirl only.

Houston is one of the few cities with comprehensive transit. Orlando just passed a resolution to complete light rail and the Florida Bullit train the Bush cuts killed. Things are looking up.
