So in tune with natur..

Down town
...Flagstaff put a smile in my heart.
Milton Street

Discovering town and treasures...

...the unique spirit of an area no visiter can ever forget.
Railroad Depot

The Railroad Depot...

...is the symbol of Flagstaff ever since it's grand opening on January 5, 1926. The Depot is a reminder of the railroad and its importance to the development of Flagstaff. The Depot is located between S. San Francisco and S. Beaver Street. During the 1920's Route 66 was built and passed right through the town and made Flagstaff a popular stop. Flagstaff was incorporated as a city in 1928 with the help of Route 66 tourism dollars. Today nearly 50,000 citizens live in Flagstaff.

Seeing these pages brings back memories of going cross-country - driving and by train - Flagstaff was a big train stop. Thanks for the memories, Ciao, Carol
