Rocking and other Nürnberg, Germany Off The Beaten Path Tips

If you have never been (like me earlier) to a Rock Festival like the one of "Rock at the Park" in Germany's Nuremberg is, you have probably missed out something!

"Rock at the Park" is one of the big events for rock fans and takes place every year at Pentecost. About 90 bands give their shows on those two days, performing on three different stages. Tickets for "Rock at the Park" enclude parking and camping!

Back on July 6-8, 2005 about 130,000 fans have rocked along to 80 bands. We really had a blast! Those bands I liked the most among the 80 that performed: Metallica, Mudwine, Disturbed, Silverchair, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Reaman, Limp Bizkit*, Pappa Roach, Xavier Naidoo, Him*. *These ones the heck had canceled!

"Rock at the Park"s visitors take their camping stuff from the parking lot to the
Festival's camping ground. At different checkpoints the festival bracelets going to be controlled. Visitors without vehicles receive their festival bracelet via ticket at the parking lots as well, or at the entrances. At the camping ground campers have to pay attention for keeping free emergency routes. Security make sure things are going ok.

If at first you don't succed, sky diving, uhhhm, base diving is not for you. Fortunately the buddies I've been with did a great job lol and had tons of fun while doing this base diving thing above/along the "Rock at the Park" Festival. Hey, don't they look amazing?! That's why we though missed Pappa Roach!
