Sparkles of marvelous Manchester

Inexhaustible nightspots

Hard Rock Cafe
Manchester is called the most vibrant place in the UK. Since, regarding the UK, I've been to London only I can't tell whether that's true or not. To me though Manchester is more attracting than London! Also I experienced the Mancunians as immensely likeable, warm and welcoming, friendly, kind, genuine and gentle similar to many Southerners of the states I've met. The Mancunians are extremly outgoing. Their nothern accent is similar nice to me like the southern drawl. I though agree British can be a foreign language not only to a native American. British may require a bit of TransAtlantic translations. Check out Elena's page. Great reads there!
For lovers of nights-out you guys surely can enjoy a great and friendly bar-pub-club culture scene there! Very nice flirting folks all over. Footnote: seems nothern UK could compete with southern US. Not sure whether that works also for Dayton's Nascar and Manchester United's Soccer.
Near Chinatown

City Center

On the mix of traditional and modern shops, pubs, restaurants, markets, malls and also traffic systems, nothing probably can beat Manchester's magnificence! Trams are making a big comeback there. The Metrolink called "Big Bang" is a great and easy accessible public system and to be planned to connect Manchester's center with also Oldham, Rochdale, Tameside, Wythenshawe and Manchester's airport.
Chapel St.

Ancient and modern

While taking a walk around and through the city of Manchester one learns quickly this town has a greater amount of architecturally significant buildings than any other "urban area of comparable size" (from its three great ages of Medieval origins, Victorian heyday and the 21st century renaissance).

Lovely little page about Manchester, where I once stayed for a few days. Today in Cologne I have realised that I have never been to any Hard Rock Cafe.
