The intention was to locate resources specific to German history. In reality many of the resources discovered, and included in this guide, concern German history in the context of European history. This guide is one of several guides being developed at the University of Michigan as part of the Internet Resource Discovery Project (IRDP). And for further catch up on German history please take a look at this web page, link www.genealogienetz.de/faqs/gh_guide.en

Fortunately no more Prussian glory but such a peaceful countryside and lovely locals that I can't nothing but coming back there some day.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Beautiful town. Very kind locals. Crispy looking farm boys.
  • Cons:Car is a must for getting around.
  • In a nutshell:Templin is a town where Germans can be considered hospitable.
