|  | 7 miles from Hameln, and about 14 miles from.. ..Bad Pyrmont one can find this most magnificent castle. It's "one of the great masterpieces of the Weser Renaisssance", and was built about 1588. The Bridge gates's statue of St. Georg dates back from 1600.
Bad Pyrmont has famous medicinal springs (brine with iodine content) which is used for any medical treatment, also a beautiful Kurgarten and Kurhaus, an Evaporation hall, many different treatment buildings, and a near by salt grotto. |
