Name of Shop: Scarves, Glass and Jewelry and Art
There are many glass shops throughout Venice. Everything from artwork and centerpieces to glass jewelry. There are also all different kinds of scarves which are convenient for cool Venetian evenings. And of course the masks.
The glass jewelry range from the very expensive fused glass to less expensive beaded necklaces and bracelets good for souveniers. We came across a unique jewelry shop near Piazzo San Marco called Gloria Astolfo that had interesting pieces.
We bought an oil painting near Piazzo San Marco. We hadn't planned on it but passed by a stall with some beautiful oil paintings and couldn't resist. We paid 100 euros for a large painting. I don't know if we were scammed but we love the painting and had it framed when we returned home. It's a wonderful reminder of our trip and for us it was worth it.
