Venice was the last city we visited on our trip to Italy. We arrived in Venice on a bright sunny day. The vaporreto ride to our hotel was spectacular. We rode past beautiful palazzos with gold tile mosaics sparkling in the sun and vibrant outdoor cafes. Venice has a magic all it's own. We were lucky to experience the city during wonderful sunny days as well as a moody overcast day. Venice at night is peaceful and quiet and you get the feeling as though you are in a ghost town. |
