Malta

Malta can offer 5,000years of history spanning from prehestoric times with world best stone age temples through Historical places, fortifications and museums,One of the famous events in history is the great siege event which happened in 1565 where Malta withstood the turkish invasion of 50,000 turks which saved europe from the turks advancement and after a few months they left empty handed with more or less half the army and their leader killed.
The fotifications on the island are massive and impresive especially in Valletta,Mdina and the tree cities.

The sea is clean both on sandy or rocky beaches and especially in the island of comino( the smallest of the three islands) is fantastic clear.
Restaurants and nightlife is great especially in St Julians.

Airport and transport is very cheap and the Maltese are very helpfull and can communicate in most languages.
Malta is rather safe at all times and easy to go around from one place to another.

Our language is called semetic & romantic cause of the arabic and european content because of different rulers over the hundred of years on the island considering that Malta was considered as a very good base in the centre of the meditteranean.
As you can see Malta offer more than just a few churches but it always depend on the time one have to go around.
Should you need any more help just ask..
Enjoy

COMINO ISLANDS BIRDS EYE VIEW - Malta

COMINO ISLANDS BIRDS EYE VIEW

TAKE A CHOPPER RIDE

Most tourists use the helicopter service that run between the island of Malta and the Island of Gozo. There is also scenic flights by helicopter or by a twin engined piper plane that would show you the islands from a birds eye point of view.

From my point of view.My head got in the way sorry - Malta

From my point of view.My head got in the way sorry

BLUE GROTTO....Fantastic Coves and caves and coral

Blue Grotto can be reached by boats ready to pick up tourists at the place called "Wied iz-zurrieq" at the west side of the island.
The caves are reached by these boats carrying tourists 10 at a time which will cost around 12 euros for a trip.
The Caves are fantastic to watch and the sea is exceptionally clear where you can clearly see the deep bottom and the colourfull Coral embedded in the rocks beneath....Sometimes the boatman allow you time for a quick swim in these caves....so dont forget your swimming stuff....and off course your camera!

Clear blue at Comino

The sea here is so clear. It tends to get very busy in summer with so many boats that now they dont allow boats so close to shore anymore .

WEST SIDE OF COMINO - Malta

WEST SIDE OF COMINO

MALTA's favourite Island of Comino

NEVER visit Malta without spending a day in Comino Island. Comino is situated just between the island of MALTA and the island of GOZO and can be reached by small tourist cruise boats leaving from the Northest tip of MALTA in Marfa Bay. Cost about EUR 5 return.

Comino enjoys fantastic clean clear blue sea and is a must to visit and swim in the spectacular bay of Blue Lagoon. The island itself is not very large and have one Hotel, one police station with one policeman and also 1 inhabitant.
Comino used to be a base for Arab pirates Laying in wait for a christian vessel crossing the islands or plying the Meditteranean sea
