Its my observation,India is not a country,can say continent as the people are diffrent,
the languages are diffrent,and the custoems are diffrent.
India has more diversity of religion,you wont find anywhere in the world.
Main religion is Hinduism,India is birthplace of Buddishm& and ancient religion of "Jainism".
Newdelhi is capital of India.we have parliamentary system of Goverment..
Offical is languages Hindi,English is widely spoken.
India has many states,within each state many interesting must see places..
If you want to explore forts,palaces&mountains river then north india is best starting point.
Ofcourse famous Bombay&Goa.
Temples& beaches,backwaters, for relaxing holiday then go to straight to South of India.
Transport-India is well connected by Bus,train&air.Indian Airlines operate thoughtout the nation,few more private airlines are Sahara, Jet Airway.

I really liked India a lot, although we went there the wrong time, in april and it was way too hot for a swede like me! Only refuge was Darjeeling :-) |
