Mumbai(Bombay) is the capital city of Maharashtra state.
and,its financial capital of India too.Main must see places all in south Mumbai.
I liked Fort area,with old buildings,it reminds me, Mumbai was once under
the direct rule of British.(1661-until India got Independence.)
In and around Mumbai many must see places are there.
My MUST MUST see Places list is ,Elephenta caves,Mani Bhavan,Wales Museum.
Kanheri caves.Yah all places worth to see,but these places one should not miss,when visiting Mumbai.
Enjoy all places,and lastely go to Juhu beach ,eat Bhelpuri to finish Mumbai visit ;)).

Best time to visit Mumbai is Dec,Jan ,Feb.

Kenheri Caves(2nd century -mid 9th Century)

Kanheri caves is near Borivilli,from Mumbai it took 21/2 hrs from Mumbai.
Although it comes under Mumbai, i have diffrent page ,Chek it out Hankeri Caves
.Its one of the Archaeologically important caves,dates back to 1st CenturyB.C to 9thCentury AD. I really liked this places,have to spend oneday to see all of 109 caves :) .

Pros and Cons

Pros:One of must see city India,you can't avoid it :)
Cons:Moonsoon season!
In a nutshell:Truely its gateway to India!!

Hi there...yeah these r nice pics... but i would love to see all the beaches in Mumbai....they look amazing in the evening time...especially Worli sea face and Shivaji Park.
